Drink Coffee Can Disguise Cellulite: Is it True?

Cellulite happens when the skin is deposited with fat in certain areas. Cellulite looks like an orange peel. Cellulite is often found on the thighs and buttocks areas. Cellulite is not just a problem for overweight people. It is even can happen to thin people. But generally, if you are overweight, cellulite will decrease when you lose weight.

Medically, the cause of cellulite is not fat. However, the factors to cause cellulite are poor diet, tension, fatigue, smoking, lack of exercise, drinking alcohol and drugs.

Getting rid of cellulite is not easy. One of the natural ingredients that can be used is coffee. Coffee has antioxidant properties to help fight cellulite. However, drinking coffee as an excuse to fight cellulite will not be effective because coffee’s antioxidants cannot the cellulite area directly. So, to fight cellulite, you have to make a scrub from coffee in the following way:


  • 250 g coffee grounds
  • 1/2 tsp white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

How to make:

  1. Mix all ingredients evenly.
  2. Apply on the cellulite.
  3. Massage in circular motions to help release fat cells.
  4. Do massage for about 30 minutes.
  5. Rinse with clean water.
  6. Do massage 2-3 times a day for a week.
