Direct sunlight to the skin may causes a reddish reaction known as sunburn. This is caused by the skin being exposed to ultraviolet light for too long. Symptoms of sunburn vary from person to person. The skin may look normal for several hours after being exposed to the sun. But after 12-24 hours later, the skin will look red or look charred.

The first aid you have to do is to cool the skin. Even safer, you can use safe natural ingredients so they don’t cause harmful reactions to the skin. Here are some natural ingredients that you can use!

  1. Aloe Vera

The gel in aloe vera plant has active compounds to fight pain, infection, inflammation, and prevent skin peeling due to excessive sunburn.

For sunburn, take a piece of aloe vera, wash it, and cut it into several pieces. Store in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Afterward, peel the aloe skin and then apply on the skin evenly for 15 minutes and rinse with cold water.
