Period is a periodic monthly cycle experienced by women. Period is the shedding of the uterine wall accompanied by bleeding. Period can also be interpreted as a change in the body to prepare for pregnancy. However, being late or missed in your period does not always mean that you are in pregnancy. Late period can be caused by several factors, such as stress, fatigue, unhealthy lifestyles, drugs, obesity, smoking, malnutrition, and certain disorders and body hormones.
Periods’ cycle is different for one woman to other. The normal cycle length is 28 – 35 days from the first day of your period until your next period in the following month. Late period can trigger serious illness with certain signs, such as, unbearable dizziness, nausea, high fever, hair loss, decreased vision and other signs that are not normal. Immediately consult a doctor to reduce high risk.
Herbal treatment with herb of kembang sepatu (hibiscus) is proven to ‘invite’ periods. This flower is easily found in yards and rural roads. You probably won’t find it easily in downtown, but you can always find it from online shops.
Here’s how to make the herb.
- 3 fresh kembang sepatu
- Vinegar as required
How to make:
- Wash the kembang sepatu, then pound until smooth.
- Add ¾ glass of water and cooking vinegar.
- Squeeze and filter the water.
You can drink this herb 2-3 glasses per day until the period comes.
