Scientific Jamu for Hemorrhoids

Some people still consider hemorrhoids as a “mild” disease. But, in fact, based on data from WHO this disease accounts for 600,000 deaths each year. Not a small number. Before move to hemorrhoid treatment, do you know what a hemorrhoid is?

A hemorrhoid is a condition in which the veins around the anus become inflamed or swollen. Well, if this disease if not handled properly, it can cause blood vessels to break and lead to other disease, namely anemia.

Hemorrhoids are triggered by several things, including straining during bowel movements, sitting too long, diarrhea or constipation, obesity, pregnancy, and lack of fibrous foods. In addition, increasing age also makes a person more at risk of developing hemorrhoids.

After we know some causes of hemorrhoids, we can prevent them even though we are still at risk of developing them as we age. Hemorrhoids can be prevented in several ways, including eating foods rich in fiber, drinking enough water, regular defecation, exercising regularly, avoiding sitting too long, avoiding heavy lifting, if pregnant you should sleep on your side, and don’t push excessively. Those are ways to avoid or minimize our risk of developing hemorrhoids.

However, for those of you who now are suffering from hemorrhoids, there are various hemorrhoid medications or ointments. But if you want to try jamu for hemorrhoids, here is the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 15 g daun ungu/caricature-plant (Graptophyllum pictum)
  • 12 g daun duduk/three-flower beggarweed (Desmodium triquetrum)
  • 9 g daun iler/coleus (Coleus atropuspureus)
  • 3 g Temulawak/Java ginger (Curcuma zanthorrhiza )
  • 3 g Turmeric
  • 3 g meniran/gripeweed (Phyllanthus urinaria)
  • 1000 cc water

How to make

  1. Boil water in a stainless container.
  2. Put in all the ingredients. Wait up to 15 minutes.
  3. Remove and cool to room temperature
  4. Strain into a glass.
  5. Drink 3 times a day

The recipe is an official recipe issued by B2P2TOOT. You do not need to worry on consuming it, as this jamu has been through several studies. Therefore, you can be sure that it is safe for consumption.
