5+ Natural Tips to Get Rid of Bags Under Eyes

You can get rid of bags under eyes by doing certain treatments, ranging from cheap to expensive treatments with chemical ingredients. However, you can remove bags under eyes naturally without having to dig deep into your wallet.

First, use cucumber slices to cover both eyes for 10 minutes. After that, rinse with clean water. Cucumber can nourish and maintain skin moisture so that the skin around the eyes is well hydrated. Cucumber can also remove dark circles and wrinkles in the eye area.

Second, place used tea bag on your closed eyes (chamomile tea is recommended) for 10 minutes. After that, rinse with clean water. Chamomile tea contains caffeine which can reduce swelling which is generally caused by fluid buildup in the eye area.

Third, lightly massage the under-eye area with almond oil or peanut oil for 5-10 minutes. Both of these oils have anti-inflammatory properties that provide essential nutrients to the skin so that bags under eyes reduced.

Fourth, apply ground turmeric under the eyes for 10 minutes. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties to treat the skin and eliminate eye bags.

Fifth, apply crushed mint leaves under the eyes for 10 minutes. Mint leaves can work as a natural astringent, contain vitamin C, and are able to rejuvenate the skin.

Lastly, dip a cotton swab in rose water and place it under your eyes for 10 minutes. Rose water has antioxidant properties to strengthen skin cells in the under-eyes area.

Please also note, after carrying out the above treatments, there are several things you should do.

  1. Drink a lot of water
  2. Get enough sleep and rest for at least 6 hours
  3. Don’t drink alcohol
  4. Reduce sugar consumption
  5. Avoid caffeine
