You can make toner from easy-to-find natural ingredients; you even can make your own at home. Besides the cheap price, it is also safe for the skin. Generally, toner serves to remove dirt and remove make-up. However, toner also functions to balance the pH of the face, soothes, brightens, moisturizes, and smoothen facial skin.

Everyone has a different skin type. We recommend you to use a toner with natural ingredients such as the following 3 ingredients to refresh your skin!

  1. Lemon

Lemons are often used as a base for cosmetic products on the market. Because lemon contains high vitamin C which helps tighten large pores, kills acne-causing bacteria and overcomes excess oil production on the face.

For toner, mix 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of cold water and store it in a spray bottle.

  1. Green Tea

Green tea, apart from being used as slimming tea, can also be used as a toner. Green tea is rich in antioxidants and nutrients that can prevent wrinkles and lines on the face, keep the skin healthy, moisturize the skin, and reduce excess oil on the skin.

For use, Mix 1-2 green tea bags and 1 cup of boiling water and store in a spray bottle.

  1. Rosewater

Water from rose flower extract has been widely used for beauty products. Rose water toner is used to complete your skincare steps. Rose water helps moisturize, brighten, relieve inflammation or irritation, and prevent acne breakouts. Rose water is not only used as a toner, but also as a mask, face mist and facial cleanser.

For toner, boil the roses (the petals are removed) in water until the color of the flowers turns pale pink. After that, cool the water and store in a spray bottle.

That’s it. It is easy, isn’t it? Instead of using expensive toners that may cause problems on your face, it’s better to find one safer for your skin.
