Having a gastritis is a particular concern during Ramadhan fasting. Because, for approximately 13 hours (around tropical areas) the stomach will not get food. According to nutritionists, fasting is the same as a diet lambung (gastritis diet). The principle of the gastric diet is that patients are encouraged to eat regularly, consume foods with enough calories, protein, and reduce saturated fat. In addition, sufferers are not allowed to eat foods that trigger acidic gas, as well as spicy and hot foods.
